The Outlawz Alcohol Markers Awareness Challenge

Hey, everybody, welcome to my little piece of blogdom! Hope you are having a fantastic Friday, and are ready for a new challenge with us at The Outlawz A.M. group.

(How's that for a better introduction to my blog today than the following: "Today marks my first post for the Alcohol Markers group at The Outlawz. I had so much trouble getting the spacing fairly consistent that you could easily call me exasperated right now. Arrrgh! However, in the vernacular, 'it is what it is'. So there.")

Anyway, I wanted to let you know that we are asking for colorists to make an awareness project for anything that features a ribbon. I chose Breast Cancer Awareness and found a cute little beribboned bear at McMahon Five. I printed her on MICBC and colored her with Copics and Twin Touch Markers:

RV11, RV13, RV17, RV19, TTBR107, TTBR109

My DP is from the Bazzill Basics Vintage Marketplace collection; it is paired with Stampin' Up CS. My sentiment is from the Whimsy Everyday Mini Postage Sentiment set and was die-cut using the Whimsy Mini Postage die. Other die cuts were made with the following dies:
Cheery Lynn Polynesian Sails Oval Doily
Cheery Lynn Manon's Wedding Garland
Cheery Lynn Silver Stackers L-7 Oval
Cheery Horizon Oval Boutique
Whimsy Corner

An awareness ribbon made with SU ribbon and a brad finishes my card. I have to mention that, once again, my dear darling husband does not like my creation. Hmph! Old poop! Of course, that's only two cards in the past six months or so that he hasn't cared for, so there is that.

We went to our Cardinals' game last Sunday and they won! So happy about that! Not holding my breath for the next win, but so far the season is not a lost cause. And that's a good thing.

I will be back in a bit with another post. I hope you stop by to check out the fab awareness creations made by my talented teamies! And then, grab a marker and play along this week!
