The Outlawz Alcohol Markers Anything Goes Challenge/Christmas Twist

It is Friday again. Funny how that happens every week. I am struggling to do anything creative because I got hooked into a book series that has captivated me. As in, I cannot get enough of reading it. To the detriment of everything else that needs doing. Oh well...

We are sponsored during the month of May by Ditzie Digi Design. They are giving away 3 digis to first place, 2 digis to second place, and 3 digis to third place. These prizes will be randomly selected from the pool of May participants.

I used my DDD image last week. So, this week I decided to go for the Christmas twist and chose SCACD Holiday Owl, by Carmen Medlin, for my image. I printed the owl on X-Press It BC and colored it with my Copics:
Owl/Jingle Bell: N0, N2, N4, N6, N8
Berries/Hat: R22, R24, R27, R59
Beak/Nails/Eyes: YR21, YR24, YR27
Holly/Large Ornament: G21, G24, G28
Ornaments: R22, R24, R27, G21, G24, YR21, YR24, YR27

I added a bit of Stickles, (Star Dust and Eucalyptus), created an easel design with Stampin' Up CS, and used several die cuts:

Spellbinders Grand Circles & Grand Scalloped Circles
Cheery Lynn Holly Flourish
Cheery Lynn Merry Christmas Pine & Partridge Sentiment

BTW, the series I am reading is The Farseer Trilogy, by Robin Hobb. It was recommended by George R.R. Martin, creator of The Game of Thrones. I loved that series, so I figured if he loved this one, then I probably would, too. As I said, I am captivated by it.

I have not gone through all of my photos from Kaua'i yet. My phone seems to have over 900 photos on it right now. Odd. When did I take all of those? I shall endeavor to go through them soon, if I can pull my nose out of my book. And, when I do, I will do a vacation post for those of you who wish to read that. I will not put all of my photos in that post, but will try to narrow it down to a few that really give the flavor of our two-week trip. In the meantime, here is a teaser. Gary captured this photo of an elderly woman perusing her guide book before the most scrumptious lunch at Gaylord's. (I highly recommend it. We ate dinner there on our last day, too!)

I am drooling just looking at this fish dish again. Sigh...

Do check out the wonderful creations by my talented teammates: Carla, Dawn, and Kathi. And then please color up any image you wish and join us in our AG challenge! You may use any brand of alcohol markers, and we love for all skill levels to play along with us!

Have a great weekend!
