This month we are sponsored by Delicious Doodles, where you will find really fabulous images. Teri will be awarding our randomly-selected participant with 4 digis of his/her choice. Pretty cool, huh? I will be using my DD image next week.
I have been remiss about getting to my vacation photos. I am still immersed in books, and I have read several since I last posted. I am a reading machine, I tell ya. I wonder if I want to escape into books because my fabulous Kaua'i trip is in the past. And I am not thrilled with our Arizona summer heat. So I avoid it by occupying my mind elsewhere. Hmmmmm...well, whatever it is, I am still intent upon boring you with vacation photos soon. Sorta.
Sorta for the soon. Not for the boring. Just so we are perfectly clear on that. Clear. As mud.
Anyway, our friend, Catherine, had a birthday on Wednesday. So I made a card for her with hiking in mind, since she loves to hike--though not in the 100+ heat we have right now. I found, (in my collection), a cute Mayzy Art image, Hiker. I printed her on X-Press It BC and colored her with, (surprise, surprise), my Copics:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair/Stick: E42, E44, E79
Shirt/Socks: R02, E08
Shoes: BG70, BG11, BG72, BG75, W0, W1
Jeans: BG70, BG11, BG72
Backpack: E41, E42, E43
Binoculars: W0, W1, W3, W5, BG11, BG72, BG75
Clouds: BG70, BG11
This was rather a CAS card for me, don't you think? I used Stampin' Up CS for the hills and DCWV CS for the sun. which was die-cut with the Cheery Lynn Italian Flourish Mini Doily die. And I used two Cuttlebug folders for embossing my hills: Tiny Mosaic and Tiny Bubbles. The sentiment is one I created. That's it!
Please check out the cool creations by my talented teammates. And then use any brand of alcohol markers and the above inspiration to color your image for us to see. Really would like to see more participants each week, and our prize is really wonderful--so join us, won't you?
Have a wonderful weekend!

Sue actually did send this comment. It came in twice, so I published the first and deleted the second. When I hit 'delete', it deleted it from my blog and then I couldn't re-publish. Sigh...anyway, Sue, I apologize.
DeleteFantastic card, Penny! Love the scene you created with your design and fabulous coloring, of course. Goes without saying! Have a great weekend and stay cool!
