The Outlawz Greetings Card Summer Vacation Challenge

My post is a little late today. I didn't write it last night and set it to post automatically. My bad.

Our new challenge is to show us your idea of summer vacations. That's pretty easy, right? And we are being sponsored, once again, by Bugaboo Stamps.

I chose Bugaboo Knobby Knees Boy Vacation for my image this week. I printed him on MICBC and colored him with my Copics and Twin Touch Brush markers:

Skin: E000, TTR131, TTYR133, TTR139
Swimsuit: B97, B99, E08, E09
Pineapple: YG01, YR27, Y38
Umbrella: E08, E09
Suitcase: B97, B99, E40, E41, E43, W1, W3, W4
Straw: YR27

I chose DP from the Bazzill Beach House collection and paired it with Bazzill Kraft CS. I was able to cut out several pieces from the DP to use as embellishments on my card. I also used some recycled cardboard, and a couple of dies: MFT Mini Film Strip, MB Distressed Tag, and SCACD Alice's Clock Statement Corner. The distressing was done with my Zutter Distrezz-It-All and some Stampin' Up ink. My sentiment is from Tim Holtz Chitchat.

Since I am so late with my posting I shall leave it at that. Will post more vacation photos on my next post at the end of the week. I hope you all have a wonderful one, and that you check out the fun designs by my talented teammates at The Outlawz Greetings Card Challenge! Looking forward to your creations!
