The Outlawz Alcohol Markers Valentine's Day Challenge/Kelsey's Valentine

Hi, there. Told you I'd be back today. Lucky you.

This month we have a new sponsor, Sami Stamps. Be sure to check out her shop--she has lots of fun images for coloring there! (I will be using one of her darling images later this month.) The prize will be a $12 GC awarded to a randomly-selected participant.

Our challenge today can be either Valentine's Day, or any love. Well, I chose the Valentine theme, but not the typical colors. I had this adorable Tiddy Inks Hello Pet image, and just had to use it for my granddaughter's Valentine--she loves all things "dragon". Purple is my favorite color for a dragon. Don't ask me why, because I couldn't tell you. I know a lot of peeps make them green. But either way, not your pink or red for the holiday. Oh well...

I printed Hello Pet on MICBC and then colored it with my Copics:

Skin; E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Hair: YR20, E31, E33, E35
Dress/Shoes: YG91, YG93, YG95, YG97
Dragons: V12, V15, V17
Leashes: BG10, BG11

A bit of Spica Clear was added to the collars and Spica Lavender was added to the claws. 'Cuz dragons need their nails polished & sparkly, don't they? Of course they do.

Then I used the following dies to finish my card:

Memory Box Macarena Corner
Cheery Lynn Happy Valentine's
Cheery Lynn Sealed with a Kiss
Cheery Lynn XOXOXO

I hate to admit this, but I almost tore this card up. Yeah, that's what happens when Penny has to re-color something over and over again. She finally gets mad and takes it out on the paper. Well, I didn't tear it up, because I didn't have enough time to completely re-do it. But suffice it to say, this is not my best coloring, and I am really disappointed in it. It is what it is. And I am what I am. I'm Popeye the sailor man. (Oh, help, get me out of here. I've been in on the computer too long!)

Do stop by and see the beautiful Valentine's created by Carla, Dawn, and Linda--really great inspiration for you! And please join us this week!

Have a great weekend. No more football, though, drat!
